Today, your child will bring home their first Term Report Card which reflects the achievement in all subject areas from September 2018 until February 2019. The Ontario Curriculum and the Provincial Report Card stress the importance of the roles of the teacher, student and parents/guardians in assisting your child to strive for and achieve the high level of achievement known as the provincial standard. In keeping with the collaborative responsibilities of home and school, you are asked to complete page 3 and 4 (Response Form) of the term 1 report card and return it to the school by Tuesday, February 19, 2019. Since this response form will be filed in your child’s OSR (Ontario Student Record) as a reflection of student achievement, your written comments should address the performance of your child. We appreciate your help and support with this task.
