It is so hard to believe that another school year has come to an end! While we continued to overcome some challenges this year, it has been simply amazing to end the year with protocols lifted which have allowed us to come together as a community and celebrate our time together! It has been a rewarding and most enjoyable year for us to have the opportunity to work with you and your children. It is often said that “it takes a village to raise a child” and, as such, the great people of this community have and will continue to make Christ the King a great place to be! |
The end of the school year inevitably means saying farewell to both some of our staff and students. We are proud of our 2022 Grade 8 graduates. It has been a pleasure to watch them grow and we wish them every success as they begin their journey through secondary school. Our hope is that, as they enter high school in September, they do so with confidence and a strong belief in themselves. We pray that God may bless and guide them always! |
We thank all of our educators who are leaving for their hard work, dedication, and support during their time at CTK. Mr. Caceros, Ms. Gillespie, Ms. Schwab, Ms. Silva, and Ms. Soares, you will all be truly missed, and we wish you all the best in your new school communities!
A heartfelt thank you to Nancy Sabo, a retired principal who has been supporting the staff and students of Christ the King. She has been truly committed to the Bobcat community. Her professionalism, kindness, and desire to see the best in all have been appreciated. I am writing with bitter-sweet news today as I am sharing that I will not be returning to Christ the King CES as principal next year but am also very excited about a new adventure in St Clements. Our community is truly exceptional. I have truly enjoyed watching your child learn and grow. I want to thank you, sincerely, for your care, compassion, and commitment to Catholic education. Your new principal will be Mrs. Andrea Dafoe. She is currently the principal of St. Clements CES. She comes with a commitment to quality education and a faith-based focus. I know that she will continue to build upon the community we have built and will ensure your child is successful and happy here. In closing, we would like to wish you and your family a safe and happy summer filled with God’s blessings of peace, health, and happiness! School is back in on September 6th, Bobcats!! Stay safe, Sherry MacDonald |
