On Wednesday, June 27, we will be hosting our annual Mission Day.  This has been a very successful event in the past and with your help we hope it will be even bigger and better this year.  We will be raising money for our “We Villages” We Day charity for our make a change committee this is a part of the we schools to help partner with rural communities to break the cycle of poverty in foreign countries. Our charity is EDUCATION for India.

Mission Day will begin at 12:30 and end at 2:30. There will be a number of activities for the students to participate in; some may include: face painting, bake sale, COTTON CANDY, tattoo parlor, hot dogs, dunk tank, and more.  There will even be a quiet room for meditation and relaxing if a student needs some space.

Tickets will be 25 cents each and we strongly suggest that students purchase their tickets in advance of Mission Day.  We will begin selling tickets on Monday, June 18th until Wednesday, June 20th during lunch recess in Room 11.

We asked that baked goods be brought to school in the morning of June 27th.   No peanut products please!  It would be most helpful if you could indicate the type of baked good you have sent in (banana muffins, apple cinnamon squares, lemon cake etc) and label your container for quick return.

The students and staff thank you for supporting your Christ the King community in our work to help others.

Please check out Mission day letter to go home tomorrow with more details and information.
