Dear CTK Parents:
As Halloween is fast approaching we would like to invite all students to wear black and orange in the morning and dress up for Halloween during the afternoon on the 31st of October with the exception of the Kindergarten students who will be in their costumes in the morning and changing in the afternoon. Teachers will give some time after lunch for students in grades 1-8 to dress up. After lunch each class will parade in the halls and students will have a chance to show their spectacular, spooky or fun costumes around the school!
If you wish for your child to go home for lunch parents need to write a note in their child’s agenda.
Costumes must be appropriate for the age of the child; with NO MASKS, WEAPONS, EXTREMELY GRAPHIC OR GORY COSTUMES, and NO FAKE BLOOD being permitted.
We would like to remind parents and students that we are a peanut and nut free environment. We have several students at the school who also have other allergies and sensitivities. Students are not required to bring anything, however, if you would like to send something in, we encourage you to send non-food items such as stickers, pencils etc….
Thank you once again by showing your care and concern for all children by helping to provide a safe learning environment. A copy of this letter will be going home today.
