On Tuesday October 31st, we are inviting students to wear black and orange in the morning and dress up for Halloween during the afternoon. Staff will give some time after lunch for students to get dressed. Students will also participate in a Halloween parade where everyone can enjoy the creativity and fun in all of the costumes. In order to ensure that all of our students enjoy their day, there are a few guidelines that we would like all students to follow with respect to costumes:
- Masks that cover the face or fake weapons of any kind are not allowed.
- Extremely graphic or gory costumes (including blood) are not allowed as we have young students who might be afraid.
- Costumes should be simple enough for students to manage independently
- Costumes should not interfere with classroom activities. Students must be able to sit, walk, see, hear, etc..
Please remember that since students will be trick or treating in the evening, non-food items such as stickers, pencils, glow bracelets, etc. are often preferred items! Please remember we are a peanut and nut free environment. Thank you so much for your cooperation and we are looking forward to a”spooktacular” day!!!
