As noted in the WCDSB Strategic Plan under the priority to ‘Build Capacity to Learn, Learn, and Live Authentically’, our Board continues to invest in refreshing Learning Commons and furniture. At Christ the King, we are so excited that work in our Library Learning Commons begins this week! Beginning on March 28th, our entire collection of books will be packed up so that new shelving can be installed. With the new furniture and refresh, our Learning Commons will become a more inclusive, flexible, and learner-centered space to allow for greater collaboration, inquiry, and imagination. This innovative, shared space will also help meet the needs of our 21st Century Learners and global competencies. The Library Learning Commons is expected to open next Tuesday, April 2nd!
