What’s Happening Week of April 2, 2018

We Are a Easter People!

Happy Easter!  What a wonderful time of year for us to celebrate and spread the wonderful message of Jesus.  Let us rejoice in the many signs of new life and thank God for His many gifts and love for us.  The Easter season continues for seven more weeks through Pentecost, celebrated on May 20, 2018.  We will continue to have many opportunities to show our faith and ‘Renew Our Promise’ especially during Catholic Education Week (May 6-11)  which takes place during the Easter season.

Emergency Procedures: Lockdowns, Fire drills, and Tornado Drills

In order to ensure the safety of students and staff,  we will continue to practice and review our school’s emergency management plan.  During the month of April, we will practice the requirements for  “shelter in place,  hold and secure, and lockdown” as well as conduct a tornado drill.  In order to ensure all students and staff are aware of our fire safety procedures, we will be conducting three fire drills in the next few months.  Students have already practiced these procedures in the fall and staff continue to discuss the procedures with their students.  Updates on when these drills take place at school will often be posted on Twitter @CTKBobcats.

Save the date!  On Monday May 7th at 6:30 come out and have some math fun with the family!  The fun starts at 6:30 and all are welcome!!!
