Chromebooks distributed need to be returned this week

Hello Bobcats families,

We still have some outstanding Chrome books that were distributed in the fall/early winter. We desperately need these back to the school for students to use. Please send the Chromebook and charger to the school with your child asap.

Thank you for your continued cooperation.

Reminders for the Week January 13 2023

Reminders for the Week

We hope that the holiday and the new year offered everyone the gift of time with family and friends. We were excited to see everyone this week! A reminder that we do spend time outside for learning and recess multiple times each day. We keep an eye on temperature and wind, and we love it when the sun shines. Please remember to send your children with warm layers, winter boots, extra gloves and extra socks (these can get quite wet).

Student Safety is our Number 1 Priority!

Bylaw reached out to the school to ask that we remind families that in the morning and after school who are doing drop offs/pick ups, to not idol your car, not park on corners nor near stop signs nor in front of the drive way as this is a fire access. The more parked cars we have the less safe it is for students as they try to cross roads and navigate parked cars.

Please try to encourage walking to school, but if you do have to drive please use the above suggestions for safety and be kind to our staff who supervise as they only want what is best for our students.

I want to take a moment to say a big THANK YOU to all of our community members who, in spite of it being less convenient, walk their students (either from home or from a parked area, it’s great to know that so many of you care about your children’s safety just like we do.

Kindergarten Registration for the 2023-2024 school year will take place on February 7th and 8th.  Please see the following flyer for more information and feel free to pass the information onto your neighbours and friends,  KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION 2023 Bulletin Letter

Pokémon Cards

We do not recommend students bringing Pokémon Cards to school. They become a distraction in class and sometimes get lost or result in disagreements with students. I made an announcement letting students know that if they bring Pokémon Cards, they do so at their own risk and the school is not responsible.
