Welcome Back to School ~ Tuesday, September 5th!

Hello Bobcat Families!

Just another reminder regarding back to school.

We are looking forward to welcoming our students back and welcoming our newest students on Tuesday, September 5th!

Class Assignments: If you are wondering which class your child will be in this year, please watch School Cash Online.  Hopefully, the information will come to you before the end of the day on Friday.

  • Students in Grade 1 to 8 start school on Tuesday, September 5th. The bell rings at 8:30 am in the morning, and the students will be dismissed at 3:00 pm.
  • New kindergarten families have been contacted by their child’s teacher regarding interviews set before they begin school on either September 7th or 8th, as per instructions from their teacher.
  • Senior Kindergarten students start school on Wednesday, September 6th

Students in Grades 1-8 will enter the schoolyard (blacktop area) to find their teacher who will have their name on a paddle that they will hold up once the bell rings at 8:30. Staff will be outside to help direct students. For safety and supervision reasons, we ask that parents wave from the grass area/ behind the fence and not enter the yard. The playground will not be open that morning before school. Please leave pets at home, as some students may have allergies, and some may be afraid. If students ride scooters or their bicycles, they must be walked onto school property (for safety reasons), and please make sure to bring a lock.

Thanks for your continued support! We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday!

The office will be open at 8:30 – 3:00 PM for parents to drop off medical forms and medication.

If you are wondering which class your child(ren) will be in this year, please keep an eye on School Cash Online. The information will come to Friday after 4 PM. New kindergarten families will be receiving messaging from their child’s teacher regarding visits set up for the first week. The calendar on the website can be subscribed to so notifications can be received as dates are added.

The inside of the building has been getting its summer clean and it is looking fabulous!  Appreciation is extended to Mr. Pimentel and Mr. Jenkins who has worked hard to ensure our school is ready to welcome students back.  We received new furniture from the board (desks and chairs) which will be exciting and fr Some of the staff have been in preparing their spaces and lots of planning is underway.  All in all, we are looking forward to another year of working with you and your children.  Christ the King Catholic Elementary School is a great place to learn and grow!
