Reminders of the Week – May 3

Here are some Reminders:

“I am the vine, you are the branches. Whoever remains in me and I in him will bear much fruit, because without me you can do nothing.” John 15:5

It is hard to believe we enter into May this week! As we embrace the blooming spring, let’s also embrace the opportunity to finish the year strong. With determination and perseverance, let’s channel our energy into making these final months of the academic year truly memorable. Keep on the journey of growth and success to make every moment count!

Safety Drills for Bobcats

It has been a great safety review month here at CTK as the students and staff participated in Lockdown, Tornado and Fire Drills. We just wanted to take a moment to tell you how PROUD we are of our students.
During the Fire Drill, all students followed safety protocols and evacuated the building quickly with everyone cooperating and reaching their meeting spots in record time. Way to go!
During the Lockdown Drill, all the classroom doors were locked, lights were off, and the building felt empty. And the Tornado drill was a success with student’s able to sit in a safe area, precisely what we were aiming for.

We want Christ the King Catholic School to be a safe environment for all students.

School staff cannot administer medication, including aspirins and Tylenol without a “Request and Consent for Administration of Medication” form, completed and signed by a doctor. It must be in the original container that is labeled, including the instructions and conditions that are to be followed for the administration of the medication for the safety of the child. All medication is stored in the office area. The only exception to this requirement has to do with any child who, because of life threatening allergies (i.e. Asthma), must carry medication.
